The Scout Quick 5 is the brand-new line of ready-to-install QuickFit marine antennas, that do not require the installation of RF connectors, easy to remove and totally waterproof thanks to the Scout original foam injection technology. QuickFit antennas are built with FME type termination, they do not require any specific equipment or tools to make the installation on the boat, either on deck, rail or mast. Installation can be carried out easily as no technical skills are required.

The QUICK 5 antenna is a professional 2.40m (8′) VHF antenna with 3 dB gain, specifically designed for long range communication. Built with solid brass and copper elements and extra heavy-duty fiberglass 1.5mm thick. Fully foam injected, ice white coloured with high gloss anti-UV filter to prevent colour deterioration.

Releasing the lock nut makes the antenna easily removable from its mount, which is particularly useful during winter storage or during transport of the vessel. Standard ferrule 1″ x 14 threads to fit on every type of mount (PA-30 and PA-31 are suggested).
