These countersunk drilling screws are manufactured in A2 stainless steel (~200 HV hardness). They are suitable for drilling and threading into softer materials such as aluminium, plastics, and plasterboard. Not suitable for hardened steels or alloys with hardness equal to or greater than that of the screws.
Manufactured from A2 (304) stainless steel, these screws combine excellent corrosion resistance with dependable fastening performance. The self-drilling point allows direct installation into thin sheet materials without pilot holes, while the tapping screw thread forms its own mating thread for a secure, vibration-resistant joint.
The flat countersunk head provides a flush finish with the surface, making these screws ideal where a neat, low-profile installation is required. The cross recessed Phillips drive (H2) ensures easy engagement with standard tooling and controlled torque transfer.
Key Features:
Material: A2 (304) stainless steel corrosion resistant
Head: Flat countersunk for flush installation
Drive: Cross recessed Phillips (H2)
Function: Self-drilling tip with self-tapping thread
Applications: Sheet metal, aluminium profiles, plasterboard, plastics, and light section fixings
Not recommended for drilling into hardened steels (>200 HV)
These countersunk Phillips drilling screws provide clean appearance, quick installation, and reliable holding power, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in construction, engineering, HVAC, and light fabrication.
