Dutton-Lainson Standard Brake Winches

Description

Brake winches feature a fully automatic friction brake making them suitable for most vertical lifting applications. The operator cancrank the handle clockwise to raise the load or anti-clockwise to lower it. When cranking stops the brake applies and the load is held in place automatically.
The automatic brake keeps the load secure during both raising and lowering. Brake winches need a minimum load on them to enablelowering. Dutton-Lainson winches should not be used for lifting people or lifting loads overhead without additional safety devices.
