Isotherm refrigeration/freezing units with ITC control are the latest in achieving lower power consumption in a refrigeration unit.
The electronics detect whether there is any external charge, such as a solar panel, motor running, etc. When charge is available, the compressor speeds up and cools down the magazine or builds up extra cold in the food, so-called “overcooling”. The temperature is then lowered another 3 degrees below the set value. However, not below 0 degrees, as a temperature sensor monitors the system so this cannot happen.
The ITC Digital Display clearly shows and controls the temperature in the cooled space from the outside. Thanks to a temperature sensor in the space, the electronic control unit senses the actual air temperature and processes it in combination with the user’s selected settings to determine the compressor’s function. It is easy to read the set or actual temperature, select the compressor operating mode setting (ITC, Eco and Cooldown mode), and select 3 battery charge levels. By being able to set different levels when the compressor should spin up, the ITC works excellently with lithium batteries.
