Material Finish
Galvanised – A duller finish than BZP, typically 50 microns thick covering of Zinc and therefore provides much more protection suitable for many out door applications
Since hot-dip galvanizing typically adds 2.2 to 5mm of thickness to the threaded portion of a fastener, we advise using tapped oversize nuts to compensate for the corrosion resistant coating on the thread of the bolt
Tolerance on dimensions +/- 1mm. Please note that as we usually use roll threading, and the bar diameter is usually slightly less than the thread diameter
