Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger
The new Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is designed for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats, where the (smart) alternator and the start battery are used to charge the service battery. The model range is suitable for 12V or 24V systems, and both lead acid and lithium batteries.
The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth.
Why do we need Smart DC-DC chargers?
Battery to battery (or DC to DC) chargers, take the highly variable voltage output from a smart alternator for instance, and boost or reduce it to maintain a stable voltage output according to a multi-stage charging profile (in the same way as a mains charger does) providing a safe, controlled and fast charge for your auxiliary battery.
It’s only by using the correct lithium battery charging solution/s in a given situation, that you can be sure of system safety.

Bluetooth
The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger range can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, using the free VictronConnect app.
Remote on/off
The remote on/off eliminates the need for a high current switch in the input wiring. The remote on/off can be operated with a low power switch or by for example the engine run/stop switch (see manual).
All models are short circuit proof and can be paralleled to increase output current. An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.
IP43 protection
When installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards.
