Orion-Tr model range
Victron Energy’s range of Orion DC-DC converters are one of the widest (if not the widest) available in the DC-DC converter market. They include input voltages over a wide range from 12 V to 110 V and output voltages (both fixed and adjustable) in the 12 V, 24 V and 48 V range.
New features in comparison to standard Orion models
- Screw type terminals instead of ‘Faston’ (No special tools needed for installation)
- Smaller
- High efficiency (Using synchronous rectification, full load efficiency exceeds 95%)
- IP Rating (IP43 protection, when installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards)
Remote on/off
The remote on/off eliminates the need for a high current switch in the input wiring. The remote on/off can be operated with a low power switch or by for example the engine run/stop switch (see manual).
All models are short circuit proof and can be paralleled to increase output current. An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.
IP43 protection
When installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards.

Input fuse
On 12V and 24V input models only.
