Our cast galvanised steel plough anchors have excellent holding power on all sea beds and are subsequently are a very popular anchoring choice.
These boat anchors feature a strong hinge that can cope with directional tide changes

- These recommendations assume a proper chin rode (at least some chain, not rope only).
- If you are in areas of strong tide, wind, or offshore, sizing up one anchor size is generally recommended.
- Plow anchors generally like weight and chain for a firm set.
