Racor See-Through Bowl for Racor 220 225 Series

Description

The Parker Racor RK 20135 replacement clear collection bowl is suitable for Racor 220 and 225 series fuel filter units with Racor R24 and R26 spin-on fuel filter elements. The Racor filter bowl kit includes a clear plastic bowl, O-ring, probe port plug and self-venting drain valve.

Installation Instructions:

Before beginning the installation, please make sure you have a straight slot screwdriver, shop towels and motor oil or diesel fuel.

1. Ensure the filter assembly has been drained before beginning installation of the new bowl.

2. Lubricate all new gaskets and O-rings with motor oil or diesel fuel.

3. Thread the new drain valve into the bowl by hand – do not use tools. Tighten snugly.

4. Thread the probe port plug into the bowl and tighten snugly using a straight slot screwdriver – do not over-tighten.

5. Place the new bowl O-ring in the groove of the bowl and thread the new bowl assembly onto the filter assembly. Tighten snugly by hand – do not use tools.
