Description
This flexible engine mounting is suitable for marine diesel engines in the power range between 70 and 350kW (95 – 480hp). It has a maximum load of 140kg.
The VETUS type LMX140 flexible engine mounting has been designed the power-to-weight ratio of modern diesel engine. (To achieve this optimization, the weight of an engine in comparison to thrust is becoming lower and lower.)For these marine engine types, the VETUS type LMX possesses the following ideal characteristics:
Ample vertical compression guarantees optimum vibration damping, even at idling revs.
A very high level of horizontal fore and aft stiffness allows for considerable thrust. Vibration cushioning horizontally athwartships is equally exceptional.
